The Seattle/King County Clinic, a project of Seattle Center and Seattle Center Foundation, brings together healthcare organizations, civic agencies, nonprofits, businesses, and volunteers to produce the largest community-driven free health clinic of its kind in the United States.
The clinic has historically asked for ham volunteers to facilitate communications at the event. Although this year, they have transitioned to radios that do not require individual licenses, it is a good cause and they can still use experienced volunteer radio operators to assist with communications. Other volunteer opportunities are also available.
In addition to the opportunity to volunteer, the Clinic is an opportunity to obtain dental, vision, and medical care if you need it.
